Welcome to the 2004 Camsite Awards™. My name is Stacy and I will be your host this year.

The Cammies™ are publicly-chosen awards given to camsite owners in 15 categories. It is pretty self explanatory.

From February 1, 2004 until 9:00 PM Pacific Time (GMT-8) on February 12, weblogs were nominated for the different categories. That night, a panel of 50 people recieved an email. The 50 people were randomly selected from those who submitted ballots.

The email listed all the nominees of a category or the camsites that recieved the most nominations in a category, depending on how many nominations were recieved for each category. These panelists had until 9:00 PM PST February 14 to get their votes in.

On February 15, the finalists were announced and voting opened again to choose the winners. Voting closed at 9:00 PM PST on March 1. The winners have now been announced.

Contributions are greatly welcome. All donations will be used to offset shipping costs and buy prizes. If you would like your money to go somewhere specifically, please indicate. Remember that the Cammies will continue again someday, so your donations help!
