The Cat Came Back

April 13The cat has returned, a bit battered and scratched from who-knows-what, but I'm glad he is back. He's been tested for leukemia, feline AIDS, had his shots, been micro-chip'd, and has a new collar and tag. Expensive, yes, but I'm so happy he's back. There is nothing worse than laying in bed at night, unable to sleep, because you're wondering and worrying about where someone is. Yes, I know, I'm talking about a cat. :-/

About other things, life is good. The 100th photo was taken for my project 365, my goal to take a picture everyday for 2007. Work is alright, work is challenging, but it has its ups and downs. The boyfriend and I are looking for a new place to live, maybe West Portland... I'm not sure who reads my website anymore or how often you check it, but I apologize for the lack of updates. I'll make it a goal to update at least a few times a month.

It never ceases to amaze me how attached we can get to our critters. I have one who wanders with great frequency, so normally I'm cool about not seeing him for a while, but sometimes I just freak thinking that maybe something's happened to him. So far, every time I'm thick in grief, he pushes his head through the cat door and wants his treat of canned food. Whew.

Glad your kitty made it home safe and sound.

my grandchildren looking back at my time will instead note how motivated and hysterical the UN climate scientists are. i mean what can we really do if God decides to cut a huge swath of earth across florida; that's the magnitude that the climate scientist devine through their reports. you don't believe me? Check it out. stacy, are you still an enviropinko? tell me, what do you think?
