A few months ago the boyfriend and I went to see Cary Brothers, Joshua Radin, Schuyler Fisk, and others at the Doug Fir Lounge. It was very, very good.
The boyfriend and I (with a few friends) saw Joshua Radin for the first time last summer. It was great, but his set was short. Yet, his Doug Fir set more than made up for it! First, he cut infront of me in line while I was waiting to get in. I recognized him right away, regardless that he was trying to hide in a hoodie, but I left him alone. Then, during the show, he played amazing duets with both Schuyler Fisk and Cary Brothers! Yes, it was great --and with a Mirror Pond in hand, no less.
I did find a video on YouTube of Joshua Radin singing Star Mile from that night, but it is definitley not the best song from the show. (Still good, though!) I have a few videos sitting on my computer, but they're not great quality audio or video.
What am I ranting and raving about anyways? Well, I'm going to see him play again tonight, so I can't hold back my excitement. Below are some pictures I took from the night at Doug Fir.
