Last year at Oktoberfest was so much fun, we decided to do it all over again. The brats, the bier, the Salzburger Echo, the lederhosen, and so much more. Last year we drove from the south and this year we drove from the north, meaning a lot more traffic. The exit to get to 214 was excruciating. Nonetheless, we arrived, we parked, and walked through the crowds. The beer and wine were good, of course. Sadly, I made the mistake of drinking before eating and before I knew it I had to sit down and "people watch" for a bit. I don't think anyone noticed though because, at the time, most people were screaming about the UO football game. Silly Ducks.
My boyfriend almost bought a sweatshirt that said "I 'Heart' Chicken Dancing." When I realized he was serious about purchasing it, I was so horrified that I couldn't even take a picture of the sweatshirt. My boyfriend is the type of person that buys a shirt and then wears it everyday until it falls apart at the seams. You can imagine my horror, right? This would be very funny if it were happening to someone other than me. If he bought that shirt, I might as well have thrown the towel in right at that moment and bought a shirt that says "I'm With Stupid."
In other news, I made a shirt that says "I 'Heart' My Engineer" --My boyfriend being "My Engineer" for the slow folks at home. I have no idea where I'll ever wear it, but I think it's cute. Suggestions of when and where to wear this shirt are appreciated. Points awarded for creativity.
For whatever reason, I thought it would be fun to video tape parts of Oktoberfest. My hand, not steady to begin with, grew increasingly shaky over the span of the day. I may or may not create a spiffy video. If I create one, I will share, but there are no promises about entertainment value. I have created a video simply titled "Oktoberfest in 3 Minutes or More." It's no Beerfest, that's for sure.

I love alcohol, and like being drunk, but even when drunk I'd never buy a shirt that says I heart chicken dancing. Like, seriously. Even when drunk I like to have some class.

But it's September. Ocktoberfest is supposed to happen in October.
And how is "I heart my engineer" any less goofy?

(Still bitter about the fake fieldgoal.)
