I Hate Victoria's Secret

The wire on one of the Victoria's Secret bras I own has popped out. This is the third bra this has happened to in the last year. The first time, I didn't know what to do, so I threw it away. The second time, I told a girlfriend and she told me to go to the store and get a new one, so I did.

Regardless, I am unhappy. Yes, Victoria's Secret will give you a free bra in exchange of your broken (defective) one, but they're not very gracious about it. I've heard that sometimes they will tell you, loudly in public, that the bra is the wrong size and demand to resize you, instead of giving you a new one. This hasn't happened to me, but I haven't had the best experience with their employees either way.

I really don't want to go to the nearest store (an hour away) to do an exchange, but I paid $40 for it just three months ago. I don't like the sales people at designer stores (is VS designer?) who are complete snots and act like they're much more important and cooler than you are. I mean, come on, Sweetheart, you get paid a bit over minimum wage to fold bras and panties! Sigh.

i just bought 2 ipex bras and on one of them, the wire is like... twisted. i hand wash it and everything. my boob will NOT stay in it.

i'm debating takinng it back and getting another one.

i refuse to be resized. the victoria's secret ladies could not find a bra that fits me. one boob is a full cup size bigger than the other. now, tell me, how would a measuring tape fix that? i either go too big or too small. i'd rather have a pad in one side than be falling out of the other, so i go for "too big" for one breast.

THE ONLY REASON I BOUGHT THOSE BRAS WAS BECAUSE THEY WERE DIRT CHEAP. i'm usually a target bra girl, myself.

Hey what's goin on? I have to say I can't relate to you on that front, but sounds pretty friggin frustrating. :D

I just wanted to stop by to tell you that I've migrated to my own website instead of just using blogger, it's at the same address but it's totally different =P

You're still in there, my link section was esploded for a while, but I fixed it up in the about section, so don't worry (not like you did!)

I love Victoria's Secret. Of course, I never actually have to wear their products, so I may be a little non credible in that sense. :/

I've been boycotting Victoria's Secret for over ten years. It doesn't seem to be affecting their sales in any way but at least now I save myself $40+ on bras by shopping at H&M and the underwire stays where it's supposed to.

What's the big deal about being "resized"? Don't you want to know your true size so you can get bras that fit? Didn't Oprah do a show on this?

hmmm...maybe i should ask my girl for minimum wage for folding her bras and panties...

anyway, tell victoria's secret to sod off. you should go without undergarments like i do. be free! i hate having to wear them because i don't get no ventilation and after a while, my boxers starts becoming a part of me and i hate that restrictive feeling.

I've only purchased 2 bras at V.S. in the last year... and both had the same underwire problem. I didn't know you could exchange them though. That's news to me.

I love VS's clothings and their pretty lingerie. I only have like one bra from them and I only wear it on certain days because the clip always unclips itself. Rah.

But bras are generally expensive!

And La Perla is designer. VS is.. fancy. Or something.
