Stratosphere Tower Rides

I've given out enough free unwanted advice, right? Okay, now on to the first set of photos and videos.

Stratosphere Tower: At 1,149 feet, it is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States and the tallest building west of the Mississippi River. When on the Observation Deck, you will see signs telling you that you are on the webcams.

Admission Policy: Ride tickets can be purchased a la carte or as a package. Riders need to pay for admission to tower as well ($10 for adults, unless a guest at the hotel).

Rides: These rides would be tame if on the ground, but can range from alright to crazy when they're that high off the ground. Insanity has seats tethered to an arm that swings out beyond the tower leaving riders dangling 1000 feet in the air. As the ride begins its circular motion, the seats rise and tilt downward to the Strip. X-Scream resembles a giant seesaw that sends riders teetering over the edge of the tower (and is famous for its power outage last month). The Big Shot is a hydraulic freefall drop tower, similar to many found at theme parks --except this one is on top of the tower. High Roller is a mild coaster that circles the top of the tower, but it really jerks you around.
