The $340 Million is MINE!
James, Chris and I scurried to Circle K after our Foreign Policy class today to buy our Powerball tickets. Now that the Powerball jackpot has reached a new record level of $340 million (surpassing the old record of $314.9 million from 2002), the Match 5 Bonus kicks in!
I'm feeling lucky... Maybe. Even though I've heard that it's more likey that I'll be struck by lightning four times... Bah.
Update: Damn! I did not win! Damn! NOT EVEN ONE of the numbers I choose was drawn! I should win money FOR THAT. WTF! THIS IS WHY I SHOULDN'T PLAY! GRRRR!

and that is why i don't buy lottery tickets. i hate the dollar ones. it sucks me in, because it's a 1 in 5 chance of winning, so if one doesn't win, it's the next one, then the next one, and the next one again. all i ever win are tickets :(

so, i was watching the news this morning and the winners have yet to collect their winnings. naturally, they're scared at all of the media attention turned negative attention they will be receiving in the coming lifetime. although he wouldnt show his face, he was quoted as saying something along the lines of, "now my wife and i are wondering if we should've even bought the ticket in the first place." bleeping liar.
