Nachos are one of my all time best ever guilty pleasures

First, we must dispell a myth: Tortilla chips are NOT nachos. Yes, they are a vital ingredient of nachos, but they themselves are not nachos.

Second, nachos are becoming much too expensive to buy outside, and there's never enough nachos for me! If you make them at home, they are cheaper, and you can eat and eat to your stomach's delight.

Third, the best lame joke ever is: What kind of cheese isn't your cheese? NACHO CHEESE! (It's very funny, it really is.)

MY FAVORITE NACHOS; MY NACHOS!

1 pound of cooked ground beef
fajita seasoning or tex mex or anything will do
can of refried beans (probably half of it)
diced tomato
diced onion (not too much)
Tostito's Salsa con Queso
Ortega Sliced Jalapenos
Sour Cream
Tortilla Chips

The steps are pretty simplistic, and obviously I don't know my measurements. Just know that you use as much as you want, and store the rest in the fridge. It took me a few nights of nacho eating to finish that jar of Salsa con Queso --but if I can do it, I know you can too!

Remember to heat up the refried beans and Salsa con Queso in the microwave, and then layer everything how you please. I used Tostitos Hint of Lime Chips, because they're my favorite.
