Hello, I'm Stacy, and I'm a Harry Potter addict ...born a bit late

Yes, I'll admit it. I used to be a nay-sayer to all things Harry Potter, I really was. I laughed about how people "got into reading again" just because of a silly book about child wizards, and how ridiculous everyone was over all this "crazy Harry Potter business." Now, I love it. I love the Harry Potter, and I admit it.

It all started when I saw that my boyfriend's sister had the first four books. I --always looking for new ways to procrastinate-- picked up the first book. I read it within a few hours. Could. Not. Put. It. Down. So good!

The second book took me maybe two or three days, as I tried to sneak it in between various errands, school work, and the Oregon State Fair.

Now, I am in the middle of the third book, knowing that I will soon be done, and I only have the fourth book in my possession. My eyes are glazed with the Harry Potter craze! Madly, I must search for friends with book five and book six --or perhaps greedily buy them for myself.

I have to tell everyone: I love this little Harry Potter world! I catch myself calling people "Muggles" and wanting chocolate frogs with wizard cards inside them and all sorts of crazy things. Today I even went to the pet store and looked at what rats looked like a Scabber to me! Sigh.

I've gone completely Harry Potter crazy. It only took me, oh, about eight years. Sheesh.

I got hooked on fantasy when I was in high school, and noticed some of my friends were getting in to a book series called "Dragonlance". That lead to the Forgotten Realms series, which I've been happily reading ever since.

It's also nice that I can contact the creator of the Forgotten Realms, Ed Greenwood, and ask him any questions that come to mind.
