Internship is over, but tech work still needs to be done, so I continue to work with the Bus Project, a non-profit progressive political organization. Unfortunately, it's hard to get anything done in a office of fun, young people --especially with that phone ringing every five minutes.
Something I have just learned now: Home is much worse. Working on my old, cheap P4 portable at the dining table, just on the cusp of the kitchen, my mother pesters me away from work more than a busy office. With her CLANG CLANG of pots and pans, asking me if I like potatoes in my curry, and different intervals of her yelling at me to "SIT UP! BACK STRAIGHT!"
Maybe I'll go to Starbucks.

Haha. I know what it feels like to continually be nagged when you're trying to do something =P

Don't walk with your heels! Quiet! Quiet!
Madre de dios. I'm familiar with the mother voice.
