« I Miss My Corvallis House (& the Corvallis Boys) | Main | This week was tough at Internship »
My mother killed my fish.
After leaving my fish to the care of my ultra-earth-friendly college roommate for two weeks, I picked Boris up and dropped him off at my mother's house on Monday. I fed him on Tuesday morning as he was swimming happily.
When I arrived home on Tuesday night, after a hard day at my internship, my fish was dead, at the bottom of his bowl.
Apparently, my mother had put him under a bright light, because he was in the dark shadows and "really needed more light." Unfortunately, this just cooked his little body. There was actual condensation on his bowl because it was so hot.
Poor Boris. I miss my little Boris. And I have so much fish food left.
Sigh.

Oh good lord...That's too funny!!! Sorry, I know it's not nice to laugh at your pain, but it's still funny.

Aimee's right... horrible and funny at the same time.

Sorry about your fish. I had a fish once or twice, they are both dead now. The last one was happily swimming in his bowl (in my room) while I made my little cousin lunch. When I came to tell my cousin that his lunch was ready, he was squeezing my fish in his hands (oooh it's so soft, he said to me) I took my fish and put him back in his bowl... later that night, my fish died.

I'm with Aimee. It's really sad, but at the same time, sadistically humorous. Poor Boris.

I felt my fish was dying, so I did all I could think and dropped an Advil in...
poor poor fish.
Their lives are so fragile.
I wrote a Haiku:
Stacy's fish got boiled
Mine O.D'd on an Advil
oh waste of 5 bucks.
