Megan... a life taken too soon.
Last night I received a message that really shocked me. Megan passed away in a car accident. I don't know the details; I don't think it's appropriate for me to ask right now. She was a high school friend of mine. Actually, we met in summer school, right before she transfered to my high school. It was nice getting to know her through classes, Leadership, Cheerleading tryouts, and just hanging out by the soda machines (usually eating Subway). She was always full of energy, and had the best laugh.
She had so much love for her family and her friends. A few of my friends had actually attended her brother's high school graduation last week, so we were all thinking of her just recently.
It's so unreal to think that she's gone. I have her email address in my planner and her other contact info somewhere... I just never made the call. And neither did she, but no one is to blame. It just really shows how mortal we are, and how careful we all have to be.
