November Flu
Maybe it's because I gave blood last week, but my immune system took a break and I am fighting a treacherous cold. What's even worse is that the rest of my floor is sick as well. Being sick in the residence halls is a nasty thing. The rooms are cold, stuffy and dusty. It's nice to have someone to share the pain and medicine with though.
I hate being sick. I refuse to continue my day any differently, regardless that I carry "the voice of death" according to Mary. My throat burns with each word spoken and each article swallowed.
The stairs to my class on the fourth floor of StAg will now be known as "the stairs of death." I literally feel my eyes bulging out of my head yesterday, and I think my life flashed through those bulging eyes.
I must combat this cold with Nyquil, Tylenol and peppermint tea.
